A little shake.
A different tab.
Start with Safari on Mac. Chrome support is planned, with the same simple handoff between your web apps.
Enable the websites you want to use. Connect Google Drive and approve read access when transferring private Drive files.
Drag a supported file and shake your mouse left and right to switch to your previous enabled tab in the same window.
Release over the destination’s upload area. Check its uploader to confirm your file was accepted.
Every website handles files a little differently. We’re testing each route before calling it supported.

DropBridge starts with Safari on Mac, with Chrome planned next. There’s no public extension download yet. If you have the project checkout, you can try it locally.
Enable developer features, choose Add Temporary Extension, and select the project’s safari folder.
Open the extension on your source and destination tabs. Approve access to each website and reload both tabs.
For Drive files, start the local connection service and use Connect Google Drive in the extension. See the project’s Google Drive setup guide for the callback configuration.
Use a small file first. Confirm the destination accepted the file and that its contents are correct.
Current limits: 10 files per transfer, 10 MiB per file, 30 MiB total. Destination limits still apply. Google sign-in and Drive → OneDrive uploads need live verification.
Safari on Mac is the current development target. Chrome support is planned for a future release.
Not yet. Source retrieval and upload acceptance vary by website. Embedded frames and upload areas requiring trusted native events are outside the current implementation.
Yes, for the authorized Drive download flow. Google asks you to approve read access to your Drive files. This connection is separate from a future DropBridge subscription. Use the connected account in your source tab.
The intended workflow copies file contents to the destination’s uploader. It does not delete the source file.
The current transfer code holds file bytes in memory while handing them to the destination. The local Google connection service handles authorization tokens; file contents are downloaded by the extension. The destination handles any resulting upload.
No. The planned price is $1 USD per month with a three-day trial. Payments, subscription accounts, and trial activation are not implemented.
DropBridge removes its local connection and attempts to revoke Google access. You can also remove DropBridge from your Google account’s third-party connections.
